Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Research

The observation, discovery, or creation of previously unknown ideas—is at the heart of SMU's mission. Through our programs, undergraduate students can contribute to faculty research and pursue independent projects. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ researchers are competitive job applicants because they know how to communicate, think critically, and work on a team.

Ways to get involved with research

Working on research projects outside of class assignments develops a number of career-readiness skills, from critical thinking to technology to teamwork. Ways to get involved include Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Research Assistantships, the Engaged Learning Fellowship, and our Presentation and Publication opportunities, among other opportunities across campus.
